How long have you been in business?
I started this company a year ago. Previously I was the Residential Manager of another local glass company. Combined I have 14yrs experience as a Glazier, with the last 5yrs in Management.
What is your primary product or service?
We can handle any kind of glass project that you have going on, except Auto, but specialize in Frameless Shower Doors. I have installed thousands of them in metro Atlanta.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in the glass industry while working at a building supply company during college. Instead of delivering the material I wanted to be a part of the finished project. You have a real sense of accomplishment knowing that the work you have done will be there for people to see for the next 70-80 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The difference with my company is that unlike most small glass companies just getting started I'm not just a Glazier. I have been in this business for a long time and have been Project Manager on Multi-million dollar homes. I have placed thousands of bids for a large local company and can use that experience to get my customers the lowest possible price while still offering the greatest quality.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Right now we have only one location in Marietta and are not currently looking to expand.
What type of payments do you accept?
Soon we will be able to accept Credit Cards, but for now just cash/check.
Which areas do you service?
All of Metro Atlanta.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
J. Womack Glass and Mirror is a family owned business which is a division of Womack Construction, this includes Womack Electric.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 8-5 M-F, but we also offer 24hr emergency service and Board-ups.
